Today was giving-out-christmas-presents day at cross training. Thanks to all the peeps who gave me presents! Darn... didn't get to catch cybernet on tv mobile 'coz I was listening to mr.lee talk. Darn!!!

Rented troy and pirates of the caribbean: the curse of the black pearl for movie marathon at my cousin's (the guy) house later tonight. Have a total of over 300mins worth of film! Woot!

Darn... where's my cousin?! He said he would pick me and my auntie up at 4... and now's already 4.40 -_- He is never punctual...

Woke up at 8.30 this morning. Erk... waking up at 7 (nearly) every morning for training is causing my biological clock to go mad. Watched the making of Destiny's Child's videos 'Survivor' and 'Bootylicious'. Totally bored, I came here to crap and waste time.

Yeah! Accomplishment: me finished me eng essay. With 327 words over the ideal amount -_- and that's after I shaved off 144 words from my essay. Darn... have a tendency to over-shot the word limit by alot. Don't know if it's a good or bad thing... Sometimes I scare myself. My storyline is so angst/tragic I don't even dare to hand it up. Meh, who cares? Anyone interested in reading it can ask me over msn. Or wait till school re-opens. Be warned: not for someone who likes happy endings. If you do, too bad. I'm a tragedy/angst author -evil grin-

Just cut my hair yesterday. My aunt says it looks cute. I say I look like a freakin' button mushroom, with my head as the stalk and my hair as the cap. Argh... didn't exactly want this hairstyle but, meh, who cares? It'll grow out eventually.

Had training at macritchie today. Same old routes... but I didn't complete the girls' one. Ankle pain was killing me so I stopped after the boys' route. -sigh- What's wrong with me... =(

Went to je after training. Yup, arcade again! I really am obsessed. I only spent $2 today. Muahahaha... Compared to other times, that's little. Sad... Think I'm improving with guilty gear x. Yeah!! Can use Sol Badguy (yes, that's really his surname) without dying in the second stage. Only to be killed in the third one -_- By a girl who uses her freakin' hair to fight! Millia Rage -ugh- Or was it Jam Kuradoberi? Darn, can't remember... meh, who cares?

Went shopping with my aunt today. Argh... after the ankle pain, now I have to shop non-stop for 4hrs?! Ow... my feet are really killing me -sob- Ice won't help...

Still wishing good luck to the peeps still piahing their homework. Jia you! =) Me also need to piah my essays... my eng storyline is scary =s Meh, give them something 'different' to read =p

Got back from my re-appointment with mr. mervyn ng aka the rv dentist. He said my gum disease isn't that bad anymore. Thank god... weirdness: while he was picking at my lower gums, the one with more problems which equals more pain, I heard Nelly's 'My Place' over the radio. Er... Nelly? In a dental trailer?? Riiiight... anyway, it did help lessen the pain. A bit.

Took 195 home. Darn! Too early so I couldn't watch Cybernet. It starts only at 10am on tv mobile. Has all kinds of cool games and reviews for half an hour. Though I can rarely catch it -_- Argh...

Gotta piah my essays this week. Gonna do the eng one today. Meh, all the topics suck. And their weird. And stupid. And I can't write this kinda thing... I'm a more tragedy-romance author. Ergo, I can never write a good school essay. Darn!! Oh, gentle reminder: 2f peeps, there's still the hist presentation.. so excited about it! (hears booing) what? It's about the rise of Japan!! Me doing the Meiji Restoration!! Woot!! Gotta brush up my Samurai X...

Woot!! Played arcade like mad today! Stuck in there for about 3hrs... pei shi and ningxin even came back from their dental appointment and I was still there. Haha!

Played the usual: para para and tried my hand at guilty gear x (again). But I still lose at either the third or fourth stage. Argh!! Hehe... woot! Finally, other people actually agree that a game character is shuai(4)!! Ky Kiske from Guilty Gear X... he rocks man!

Damn... I so admire aaron and darius! They are so goooood at GGX!! Must make them my shifus already... and I wasn't lying! I am a nube! (that makes me sound stupid... what the heck, I am stupid!) The only thing I am is lucky. Which doesn't really help in stage 4 -sweatdrop-

Re-appointment with the dentist tomorrow... hope all goes well -shudders-

Oh man, though I hate to admit it... think I've been playing too much Halo. Here's why:

Yesterday, I went out with my aunt. Yar, and I bought that horrible mouthwash. Then, we went for dinner with my cousin (the guy). Then, of course, we went home in a cab. At first, I already didn't like the cabbie. You know? Just 'kan(4) bu(4) shuang(3)'. Later, when he was suppose to turn into my house, he goes straight and caused another extra 10mins of driving (and money). Just so happens, I was telling my aunt about Halo and all the glorious weapons I can use and I actually muttered out,"I wanna use a Needler and blast your freakin' brains out." Yes, I said that. No, I don't know why since a Needler only exists in the ring-world of Halo. I think the cabbie must have been like,"Oh god, of all passengers, I had to pick up one with a psychotic teen murderer." Well, it did save my aunt 50cents. Don't laugh. 50cents can get you an extra token at most, if not all, arcades.

Note: Needler - a Covenant (the aliens and bad guys in Halo) gun that uses pink spikes or (very thick) needles instead of bullets. It doesn't dish out much pain. At first. The needles pierce through you and snap (literally) inside you. I don't know how many times I died from a Needler 'coz at first (when they pierce into me), no damage is done. But 3secs later, when they snap, I actually die from the total damage -ugh-

Another Needler incident: I had run out of ammo for one of my weapons so I had no choice but to grab a Needler. Why no choice? 'Coz I actually despise the Needler before 'coz it didn't seem to do alot of damage. Anyway, I was at one end of a narrow passage and at the other end was a Covenant Elite (One of the better, stronger, smarter, mroe powerful Covenants). And when it started firing plasma energy at me, I freaked. I was playing at midnight, the whole screen was dark and I always hated the Elites. They made Alien look like Miss Universe. And they could kill me by just punching me a few times (once if they're Gold Elites. They have this sword thingy). I actually fired two rounds of needles at him. Non-stop. Two rounds translates to 40 needles. Fortunately (for me that is), they all decided to snap at the same time. 40 needles snapping at the same time = massive explosion. When I went over, everything in a 2m radius was black, the Elite's body was slightly charred and shiny, blue blood was splattered all over the place! Hee hee... I will never underestimate the Needler again. Ever. Man, you should have seen me laughing... (xiaomin is becoming a psychotic killer...)

Self-defence lesson: When cornered or attacked by someone or something (human or Covenant):
Step 1: Do not hesitate to use a Needler.
Step 2: Fire at least 2 rounds of needles at you attacker. (Make sure they hit and enter the attacker. If no, repeat Step 2)
Step 3: Wait.
Step 4: (optional) Laugh at the dead attacker while shouting,"In your face asshole!"
End.

Haven't updated my blog for quite awhile 'coz nothing really interesting happened. Other then the fact that I can dance and pass at 'para para paradise' (don't laugh, I take pride in these kinda things and I used to fail with 0%)and I'm meeting two of my best pri sch friends this friday. Xiaomin's life is mundane lah...

Oh, small note: I have a tagboard up by today. The complaints of not having a taggie is driving my nuts. The dentist appointment was a massive pain in the (not neck) mouth. Seriously, I think I coughed up more blood than I ever did before. Not that it's new to me. Not when every dentist says your gums are in a bad condition and your whole pri sch dentist report is 'poor'... Even have a re-appointment next tuesday -groan-

Completed an 8km run at macritchie reservoir today. Didn't even know I could do 8km without dying. Went once round the boys' route and once round the girls'. Macritchie is the same as before: muddy and sloppy. The mud actually caked around my leg and shoe. God, aunt's gonna have hell scrubbing the mud off. My blue-grey shoe has turned yellow...

Went to get a chocolate ice-cream after that. Mmm... fabulous... haha. Followed the other girls to junction 8/bishan mrt. Then hopped onto the train to city hall. Shit. Wrong station. I should stop at raffles place and change train there. Started ranting at myself, which only drew weird looks from people (what? do I look psychotic to them??). Slightly annoyed, I took the same train to raffles (which is only one stop away) and changed there. Train, not THAT perverts. Finally reached tiong bahru where I took another bus home. God, that was a long journey, took about an hour and a half. Friday's training's at school, core strength. Ole...! But saturday is at turf city. Shit, going back to the hell route again...

Oh my god... just watched 2 Advent Children trailers on the official Square Enix website. They were fabulous... I am speechless.

Advent Children is a movie sequel to Final Fantasy VII. It's set 2 years after FFVII and runs for about 80 to 90 mins (like a normal movie). The storyline goes something like this (not very sure how true it is. Info was from various websites and my interpretation from the trailers and Japanese info):

The story takes place in a world where Shinra Inc. draws out the planet's life force (called life stream) and uses it as an energy source, gaining overwhelming power and conquering the world.

Two years have passed since the battle. Though Midgar has been reduced to ruins, its people slowly but steadily walk the road to reconstruction. However, a mysterious illness torments them. With no cure in sight, it brings death to the afflicted, robbing the people of their fledgling hope.Cloud, a former member of Shinra's elite soldier guard, lives a quiet life with orphans. The loss of those dear to him during the war has left him with scars that do not heal.

Then, one day, a phone call comes offering work, asking for protection from a man named Kadaj. Young and violent, Kadaj and his gang seek their "Mother". Soon they prey on the orphans living with Cloud. Faced with an inevitable battle, Cloud wavers. An old friend's words give Cloud new resolve. At last, the battle with Kadaj begins...

The graphics in the movie are absolutely stunning. They really look like real people. Very real people. So far, the cast includes: Cloud Strife, Vincent Valentine, Tifa Lockhart, Sephiroth, Barret Wallace, Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo. There are other characters in the movie but I don't know their names. There also FF VII characters, like Yuffie Kisaragi and Cid Highwind, in magazine scans though I didn't see them in the trailers. Aerith Gainsborough is in the trailer (a flashback) but I think she'll only be in flashbacks. Oh, there's also this old man I call the wheelchair ah-pek, 'coz he's old and he's in a wheelchair - haha.

I've only heard Cloud's voice but I can tell you, they (his voice and looks) match perfectly. Very, very nice. Cloud's back with his motorcycle, Fenrir, and a hell lot of swords that can be fitted onto Fenrir. In the trailer, he rides Fenrir and suddenly you see about a dozen swords open and stick out from the front. Now THAT is cool.

The release date(s) of Advent Children isn't out yet, 'cept for Japan. It's coming out in the early half of 2005, most likely on DVD (not like actual movies). There's also news that AC will debut at the 61st Venice Film Festival as a special preview screening.

Man, I really hope Singapore brings the movie to our island's shores. After seeing all the trailers and pics, can't wait to see it in full-length and Japanese! Hope the DVD doesn't have to cost a bomb too...

Attended the sports seminar at Commonwealth Sec today. I freaked out when I reached there 'coz no one was there yet. I thought I was at the wrong place or something. Negative comments from my mum didn't actually help things. Then, suddenly my savior turns up. Karen! Haha... I was sooo relieved. Lesson learnt: going somewhere the earliest may not be a good thing.

Commonwealth turned out to be huge! Got its own miniature waterfall with koi. Looks more like a JC campus... The talks turned out to be quite ok. I actually didn't even think of sleeping - haha. They finished around 12.30pm and the four of us (minus Kah Lok) went to West Mall. Jing Jie and Amanda went home first so only left me and Karen. Two of us went to the food court to eat. I (amazingly) ordered laksa. Never thought I would eat that. Then I ate a bowl of ice jelly... and got tongue and brain freeze. Ooh...

Headed to the MRT station so that Karen could return Docas her skirt. Then went back to West Mall and 'shopped' a little. More like browse. Bought a pack of Final Fantasy VII playing cards from Comics Connection. Cloud looks absolutely gorgeous on the cards -drool- Plan to buy more of such cards... just for the fun of it - haha.

Drizzling outside... wish it could get bigger. I want a thunderstorm... muahahahaha! If the rain's bigger, it would fit the song I'm listening to now: 'Everytime' by Britney Spears.
