:D
the smiley face says alot about nj orientation so far, doesn't it?
i pay attention to relatively minute and "unimportant" stuff (eg. how clear instructions are, how the timetable is planned out) and well, you can call me a fusspot. a small slip and i practically start nitpicking at everything else. (yes, i too suspect that i suffer from OCD)
but when your school pays attention to even your attire for each day of orientation (it's listed in the orientation booklet), it's kinda hard for me not to put my hands up in the air and clap extravagantly while shouting (good) incomprehensible words.
in short, ya i'm quite happy (read: impressed) with the orientation so far, how it's being managed and the information they provide us with.
the handbook looks nice (my faceless yellow lion! now in multicolours!!) which is a definite plus.
oh the toilet is clean too. and there's toilet rolls in every stall (don't laugh, i even inspect the toilet)
no more running out of toilet paper at the worst possible moment 'cos some inconsiderate bitch took all the toilet paper from the ONLY toilet holder in the toilet.
...
shit, dude, i'm impressed by a clean toilet.
how much lower can you stoop?
i really appreciate that the OGLs would put in so much effort coming up with the banners and entire theme of the orientation (STEP UP!- the rainbow coloured "dance gangs", the backstory (yes there is one)
i'm in
TYRAZ.
either you find the name totally awesome, or utterly frigging weird.
(FYI: the other groups are
AGORIX AQUILLA IGORA LASZLO SOTERIOS)
you can tell how much i love the names 'cos i typed every one of them out. and coloured.
woot.
i feel welcomed :)
all i can hope for now is that i can continue staying in here.
i don't wanna leave my koi pond! *hugs koi*
