came up with something today. while i was watching an old couple on tv (in the news) in their one room flat.. eating bread. only. and the newscaster was going on about rising prices and how it affects them (i think.)

didn't form completely in my mind so the poem (??) is gonna sound like it was cut off or something.

Slaying dragons for fair maiden's favour
Now Time has all but left me behind
Brittle and stale, wrinkled and weary,
Ever so weary,
As the old Reaper stands waiting
Looming over his door
