aw.
ningxin doesn't like my new skin. sniff.
i'll make a blue one next time then HEH.
but this one is staying 'cos i still like the incorrect grammer of the title.
was watching Roland Garros (a.k.a French Open or if you want to be anal,
Les Internationaux de France de Roland Garros or
Tournoi de Roland-Garros) semi-finals. Rafael Nadal vs. Novak Djokovic; the other Roger Federer vs. Gael Monfils.
Nadal's one is over already. He won xD yeah. kind of sad that Djokovic lost but well er. i'm still rooting for Nadal *pokes fingers together* i think he's cool. and his biceps are probably larger than my head.
RF vs. GM hasn't finished yet and i can't remember the score. but i hope Roger wins. yeah, where's the fun in rooting for the world no. 1 but seriously, when you've seen RF play, you'd think you were watching a dance, not tennis.
(prince of tennis has ate away my brain. that last sentence was an obvious reference. all right, obvious for hardcore fans of the anime.)
his mastery of the ball and racket is just.. magic.
i'm really glad i can appreciate the "rivalry" between RN and RF. one's the conqueror of the clay court while the other dominates the rest of the world. intense, not totally one-sided, 100% spectacular.
Djokovic (world no.3) really made an impression on me when he won against RF in the Australian Open (i think). a young, talented player usurps the reigning king. he's one to watch out for (though he lost to RN.....)
phenomonal.
i think Monfils is cool too! ha, he has the home crowd support (he's French. duh.) and i like his beats-fist-against-chest-I-
AM-the-man! after a great shot :)
prince of tennis introduced me to tennis (and subsequently, the amazing stuff being played out in the current era). slam dunk introduced me to the wonder of basketball (and great friends that i play basketball with. in primary school my girls' team.. in rv my classmates stanley, george and other people too! too many to name..)
so i confirm: we should all go watch anime. 'cos it's good for us! :D
