i just ate my first curry mochi :D and it's finally raining in my area after so many days of grey-clouds-buildup.

it's a thunderstorm out there.


i feel like i'm totally fated to watch hellsing, you see 8D

caught the first episode of the OVA last week after i saw an ad before that saying it was on. and i was feeling indignant about how the free animax preview had ended before i could watch the original airing of the hellsing ova (in january).

today i was randomly surfing at 1am and suddenly i remembered to check out animax and BAM, alucard in all his vampirific glory. REJOICES. (i thought they only showed the first episode and didn't continue with the series. hohoho, how wrong was i but i'm glad i was wrong ;D)

ahh, nothing like watching bloody dismembered corpses, no life kings and surviving nazi fanatics before you go to bed.

note to self: must reach masamune's last stage in basara x and fight sanada yukimura.
must learn how to pull off HELL END DRAGON >8D
..and first and foremost, must learn to control masamune properly.

and then, one day, when i'm brave enough, i shall use motochika. and hopefully not get killed in the first stage.

2.00: buttering bread. wondering how i can last so long without a proper meal.
3.04: at the bus stop. wondering why transport isn't being nice to me today.

3.45: reached cat soc.
3.48: mis-punched a customer's bill. brain not finetuned yet |:
4.10: i go out to buy milk.
5.54: feeling sleepy. and more than abit hungry.
7.40: customer comes in, asks if we've closed (we haven't)
8.00: she buys alot of stuff (: cat soc gains a new member.
8.08: i receive my first salary. yeah.
9.00: dinner at home. cabbage rice is yum.

Watching MYTHBUSTERS now :D they're doing a lunar landing special, tackling the myth that the moon landing in 1969 was faked -filmed in a studio- and basically NASA cheated the whole world ]:

lol um I actually believed that it was fake since sec2 because of a presentantion on 'the moon hoax'. No seriously. It was my first brush with conspiracy theories xD (I only realised last year when it was the 40th anniversary of the lunar landing lol)

so I think it's totally fated that I should watch this episode :D

of course, the final conclusion is: it really was one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind (:

and it just proves that it's all down to insufficient knowledge ]:

(eg. 1. that the grains in moon dust have sharp edges thus they're able to hold together like how wet sand holds on earth (moisture is needed for sand because weathering causes sand grains to have smooth edges, so dry sand grains collapse if you try to leave a boot imprint.)
2. the surface of the moon is quite reflective so even without a secondary light source, objects in shadow are still quite brightly lit.
3. in a vacuum, there is no air resistance so momentum can cause a flag to continue waving even after the initial 'planting' motion has ceased.)

hm, i have a sudden urge to blog about my experience at cat soc. okay, my work experience although i'm only employed there for one day of the week.

(i am not complaining. seriously. like if it were two days a week (in the beginning..) i'd actually have to consider whether i should take the job or not xD yes i am that lazy.)

maybe it's just today and.. wanting to remember what today was like.
and i kinda wanna have slightly more serious and RL posts here after all that Basara-ing away. i should treat blogger and lj equally, no? 8D

so today marks the fifth(?) time i've been to cat soc as an employee, and not just someone who's uberly fascinated and attracted to nearly every single thing in the shop and splurges endlessly.

i really like hellen a whole bunch. she's like one of the coolest people i've ever met and an awesome boss who lets me do things at my own pace (um like learning how to work the nets machine and etc D:) and not being overly judgmental/naggy about miniscule stuff (like eating bread in the shop when there's nobody and my stomach is crying for sustenance) LOL.

today made me feel like i'm finally getting the hang of how things operate and i feel abit proud of myself for that. or rather, i don't feel embarrassed anymore, what with me being a subpar worker who's too blur about too many things.

still, i can be abit slow (and clumsy T.T) so i definitely have more things i can brush up on (: i haven't even learned/figured out how to brew coffee yet LOL

oh. and i still can't list out prices instantly : am trying to memorise the card prices butttt- lol let's just say i'm not exactly there yet.

it's all good. there are still things to learn and (mostly) memorise.. though sometimes, only occasionally, i wonder if i'd enjoy a more challenging work environment more. the thought ran through my mind once (i think 3weeks ago) but i tell myself i haven't even perfected what i have now so a 'more challenging work environment' can wait xD

Jun was cool and awesome as always, she waited for me until i finished work (: IN HER PURPLE JEANS WHICH I PSYCHICALLY PREDICTED SHE WOULD WEAR TODAY then it was over to bugis' swensen's for yh's surprise..thing.

my dinner was niccccce, or maybe i was just too hungry (as i always am when work ends. i still find it odd. like cm & employed don't really fit in the same sentence xD) i ate a substantial amount from Jun's plate too i think ]: and and lol surprisingly the ice cream cake was uber nice! :D (i am so not a cake/sweets person)

i met Pika today. cool lad. his brother has an unfortunate name though.

hanging out with everyone is just nice and relaxing and fun and nutty :3 i love my friends. i love that we're arts students. except when the bill comes and everybody just goes uhhhhhh with a horrified face like this → D8 'cos we can't calculate how to split it properly. sort of.

yh is an awesome friend who deserves every little bit of her two bday surprises ;) she even walked to city hall with me. and i am always amazed at how those five minutes of walking and chatting between the two of us can feel so much more awesome than the previous one-half hours we spent together with the rest.
